Sure they can grant immunization from prosecution, with no prosecution prosible then testomony can be compelled.

But that makes no sense. Why hold a Grand Jury to indict Obama (or anyone), then grant them immunity from prosecution to compel testimony, which means they Grand Jury can return and indictment againt Obama (or anyone) that can't be used to - you know - actually criminally prosecute them.

Let's say the prosecutors deem that Obama cannot be charged. They can then grant him immunity and compel him to testify and put all of his administration's leaders in prison for likely life sentences. If Barack refuses or lies, then he gets to go to prison himself. Game, set, match.
