Democrats have nothing against being wealthy

They just think they should bear a bigger tax burden

If that were true, Democrats would pursue a true wealth tax and not just an income tax. Nancy Pelosi and John Kerry are not going to let their wealth be impacted but they will go after other people’s high income for taxes and say “the wealthy need to pay their fair share”.
