On weekends, Obama generally stayed in the White House and played golf on Sunday’s. He would play at the military golf course at nearby Ft Meade due to its proximity to the White House and its inherent securityObama paid his own greens feesIf he has a $15 Million dollar estate, then by definition he has not spread the wealth around, because I know people who have a negative networth.
know anyone thats spending $105 million dollars of taxpayers money PLAYING GOLF ?Obama
at least with Trump because he plays at the courses he owns the taxpayer isn't footing the green fees and cart rental
He usually played at the military course at Ft Meade MD, he paid the $28 greens fee
Trump does play at his own courses. But theTaxpayer picks up the tab to fly to NJ or Florida
The tax payers paid to fly Obama around too.
Why does Trump insist on being flown a thousand miles just so he can play on his own course? Isn’t Ft Meade good enough for him?
Like I said before, it did not bother me when Obama and Michael went on vacation, and it doesn't bother me when Trump does.
I'm actually of the opinion that there should be perks for being President. Now these perks shouldn't be getting billion dollars deals in exchange for policy quid pro quo. But if Obama wants to fly somewhere, or walk to a nearby golf course... I don't care. Same is true of Trump.
Cutting my taxes, or jacking up my health insurance with "affordable care acts", matters far more to me, than a few million for a golf outing.
Which will bankrupt the country? The $1 Trillion dollars a year for the ACA that will exist long after Trump is gone? Or that one time fee of $100 Million for his golf outings (or whatever the new made up estimate is for his golf trips)?
Which will affect me personally? The ACA which resulted in my insurance premiums from 2006 being $67 /month, to today where the cheapest insurance is $300/month or more? Or Trumps golf trips?
