High school basketball coach charged with ‘deviant’ sex with student — and dumped by husband, a fellow coach

A high school basketball teacher once described as a “great role model for young people” faces 31 years in prison over claims she had sex with a student.

The girls’ team coach was once labeled “a great role model for the young people of Cullman County” by school district superintendent Shane Barnette.

She resigned after leading the Cold Springs Eagles girls team to the state championship in what was her first and only season as coach.

Soon after she resigned, her husband, Drew, filed for divorce and sought full custody of their son, Parker.

Drew Adams coaches boys basketball at the school, assuming the role in April last year. They had been married for 15 years.

It's a shame they will have to hire only fat ugly teachers to keep the boys from doing something stupid.

I enjoyed all the lovely ladies who taught me. They were great looking and even greater role models. Now we have to have ROLL models.

Some of them hated my guts (I think), but I still thank them for all the influence they had on me.

All of our female coaches in high school were of a certain persuasion that kept them busy entertaining each other.

Some of my female teachers could have made more as models.

But they kicked our butts when it came to "reading and writing and rithmatic".
