Former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon insists that President Donald Trump will run in 2028 — and win.

During an interview with The Economist released Thursday, Bannon predicted that Trump is “going to get a third term,” ultimately based on the will of the American people.

“So Trump 28,” said Bannon, the host of the “War Room” podcast. “Trump is gonna be president in 28, and people just ought to get accommodated with that.”

When asked directly about the 22nd Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, which prohibits any U.S. citizen from serving more than two terms as president, Bannon pointed to how there are “many different alternatives” for Trump to stay in office, but did not provide specifics."

A president can only be "elected" twice.

There was talk of this before. One scenario is that Trump becomes VP and the new president resigns making Trump president without being elected a third time.

He isnt eligible to run as VP. To run as VP, you have to be eligible to be President.
