I’m frankly not impressed.

It would absolutely require a Constitutional Amendment to Rescind the 22nd Amendment to be proposed, sent to committee, drafted (again) and then sent to the floor of each House to achieve this, and it would have to be done almost immediately. But no rush. Oh. I almost forgot. That whole ratification thing.

So maybe we can’t count on that happening. But I have no clue what Bannon might mean by “other plans.”

Pres. Trump is so popular @ current & with several avenues open for him to pursue a 3rd term as POTUS that yeah, I can see a 3rd term as POTUS for Him for sure. With the DNC in sharp decline as ever more moderates of the Dem constituency & even Dem elected officials abandoning the DNC for the GOP, I'd say pres. Trump @ least @ current could land the big one. Maybe. But along the line, history periodically records differing views of government taking various forms.

Yet, what was once deemed absurd and impossible (“Abolish slavery,” you say? “Come on, let’s at least be realistic!”) has been revealed to be common sense and perfectly possible.

Funny thing is, President Trump is upending the status quo. Stale old thinking about what the government can and can’t do or should or shouldn’t do is getting challenged. And the left seems to desire the status quo while it is the right which is seeking “change!”

The Constitution requires all VP candidates to meet the same requirements as a President. For example, a non-native born citizen cannot serve as VP because he cannot be President.
