Banning Books

I have to assume that you are writing this in response to some third world country since I am unaware of any other country banning any book.
If you believe that immature minds should be reading all books then you would must believe that they can also be allowed to drive cars, serve in the military and even vote. Since most sane people believe in restrictions for younger people it is not out of the realm of reality that other restrictions be placed on them.
the issue is SCHOOL LIBRARIES----I grew up in a conservative town----the ONE LIBRARY
in town did not loan "adult books" to kids under age 14----however "ADULT" was defined
as standard novels. In that town a book could EASILY be banned from the library----like
"LOLITA" was considered a big deal-----I found a copy in my mother's underwear drawer----
it was a NUTHIN' WITH NUTHIN" In my view----the bigger problem is the sexually explicit
cartoons and games. Do kids actually still read BOOKS?

Kids find it on the web.

I'm here to tell you monitoring a child's Internet activity is hard work

People sure do wail when they are prevented from providing grooming materials to children.

I find it odd how it is that adult bookstores have age limits but try the same in a public school and just watch the Stalinists howl in protest.

Keep the blindfolds on the kids until they are 18, then turn them loose on the world?

Only a Republican thinks this is OK.
Make a sex mutant out of a kid when they are 8, then turn them loose on the world?

Only a dimtard predator thinks this is ok.

There are few things in the world more stupid than banning books. People are curious creatures by nature, and creating an artificial taboo only magnifies people's curiosity about it. Americans are beginning to follow Europe's lead in the creation of banned book clubs. One of the best ways of turning a common book into a bestseller is to ban it.

America's "plain brown wrapper" approach to banned books would be pretty funny, were it not so stupid.
You need a link, because we have no idea what you are talking about.

It's hopeless -----my kid---being "normal" knew how to turn the TV on when he was
one. One day he was totally ABSORBED in a cartoon ---I forget now ----it was a standard
from either Japan or China----but the damned thing was actually sexually explicit with
overt masochism elements----I was HORRIFIED

A lot of sexual predators preying on children on the web.

Should books like the periodical "Humongous Black Behinds" be prohibited from elementary schools?

Personally I would think that such publications should be kept away from preschoolers, although you can call me a prude, I stand by my opinion

Fckn idiot the Constitution isn't a book. Put your two inch back in your panties and STFU
No it isn't a book. It's toilet paper for George Bush and his successors, people like you, and most of Congress.
