Iām in the middle of a train wreck here. Itās set in the 80s in Milan and it is dubbed into English.
Alice is a 16 year old girl who believes that her father, Santo, is dead until she sees a photo of him naked on the front page of a newspaper being arrested. She goes to see Santo in jail and she asks him why he didnāt try to make contact. He blah, blah, blahs his way out and says her mother wanted it that way. On the way out Santo asks her to do him a favor which is to clean up a crime scene with a body and to tell no one. Alice says that she is uncertain she can move a body and he tells her to get a sheet. Alice spends the night at her paternal grandmother Nonna Linaās home whom she vaguely remembers and she winds up involved in the mafia in Milan a little later.
Dear old dad had been banging the now dead Damerinoās wife, Cleopatra, when he walked in and caught him. In a bizarre bit of dialogue a Santo wraps himself in a towel and asks Damerino if he is going to let this (points to Cleopatra) get in the way of their friendship. Damerino says of course not. Santo kills him anyway. Cleopatra runs out of the flat. Santo wraps a towel around himself and follows her. Conveniently the cops are right there and they grab his arms and he dropped the towel. The press is immediately present even more conveniently and take the naked picture of Dad.
Santo and Alice donāt tell Nonna Lina. Alice goes up to the place where the body is and runs into Cleopatra. Nonna Lina is a little further behind but is on her way up to the flat. Alice grabs a sheet and she is able to move the body with Cleopatra that eventually makes itās way to a vehicle. Alice takes the vehicle out and lights the vehicle on fire.
Nonna Lina aināt no joke. She gets rids of bodies by pouring honey on the individual and unleashing a pig to devour them. She blackmails a priest for information obtained from confessions and threatens to expose him as a pedophile. Nonna Lina's other son wants to run the family and she nixes that and says that she would rather have a cousin with half a brain run it before him. He winds up falling in love with a transgender woman at a club.
I can't turn it off. It's on Amazon Prime.
