In the summer my AC stays at 69 or lower. You can hang meat in the living room and when we sit and watch vids we cuddle to stay warm.

In the brief "winter" the heater runs at 80. We wear shorts indoors and can make beef jerky in the living room.

Traditionally we "celebrate" (lol...) "Earth Day" by burning at least one 8lbs bag of charcoal grilling beef and a bunch of hickory smoking a lot of pork belly meat, salmon and a good bit more beef. Then at night burn all the waste lumber, paper scrap and cardboard along with other combustible trash that has piled up over the year in a large bon fire that generally smolders for days after wards.
