What a ridiculous report

58.5% of the population of NO is black, yet 85% of the marijuana arrest are of black people. Obviously all else being equal the arrest rate should be 58.5% , but in this case the disparity rate is 26.5%.

Meanwhile, we look nationwide at ALL crimes and we see that while making up roughly 12% of the population , blacks make up roughly 33% of all arrests for a disparity of 21%.

Perhaps you can quibble that 5% means NO has a racist police dept, but the more obvious problem is that blacks disproportionately commit crime. Why don''t you ever acknowledge that CC?
