AZ Gov Jan Brewer says her Father died fighting Nazis. Problem? He Didn't

An update...not only did he not die fight the nazi regime, he never was in the service, never went to europe, died ten years after that mess in California of lung disease, but her saying she remembers hearing the pride in his voice, she was 1 when the war ended.

If you'd looked, which you didn't care to - you'd see the news sources are not only legitimate state-wide newspapers, with Journalistic standards, but include Associated Press, and picked up by FOX affiliates, CBS News, etc.

The Guardian story also quotes the Governor's spokesman in response.

Your suggestion it is a fabrication is WORSE than the equivalent of a 8 year old girl holding her hands over her ears and saying la la la la la la la I can't heaaaar you.

In his speech.... and I have a copy of the whole speech - as delivered and as originally written - he clearly connects his birth with the Selma marches etc. BUT - any intelligent person knows the dates don't work.

So, if you can argue about what Obama meant and what he actually said.... then, surely to God, you can see the same shit with Brewer's remarks? If yes, you have a brain. If no, you are a partisan hack. Simple.
