I'm all for executing violent criminals in the back of the courthouse day they're convicted. But making consensual sex a crime is a bit of a gray area to me when teens are involved. I had sex as a teen with an adult friend of my Mom's. I assure you I was more than consenting and initiated the thing. Continuing to perpetuate the myth that teens can't consent to sex is contributing to a culture of violence in this country we don't need. I'd much rather have teens freely enjoying sex with whoever the hell they want than continue denying them that and having all that sexual repression manifest as violence and crime.
