Oh boy. How profound. I could have named a lot more limits on free speech that you cited. How about slander, libel, perjury, sedition, threats, fighting words, copyright infringement, child porn, inciting a riot, etc etc. It's no wonder you hold the beliefs you do, you're not very intelligent. It's not about hate speech, per se, it is about the freedoms expressed in the 1st A. and the limits that can be imposed on speech and expression to keep the public safe.
Not every right expressed in the Bill of Rights are, or ought to be limitless.
- One cannot yell fire in a crowded theater
- One cannot threaten POTUS
- One cannot walk down a public street naked.
None of this OKs silencing free speech of politically opposing views, which, sorry to disillusion you, has nothing to do with "hate" or whatever else the pocket-stuffing $PLC is conjuring up lately (and you fall for it)
And aside from the free speech part of this thread, are you actually OK with mayors permitting violence ? (when the violence comes from politics they support)
