I had the same reaction when I heard the dispatcher call it off..what happened to relaying the location for back up to await that teen at the next exit? I understand when they call off a high speed chase (unlike this one) when innocent lives could taken, but in my area you wouldn't see this twice anyway without more than one cop at various exits waiting.
