Munawar Hussain, a 59-year-old terrorist, was found guilty in court on Wednesday for stabbing two women inside a Marks & Spencer in the English town of Burnley. Both women survived the attack.


The motivation behind the December 2020 attack was that he felt the grocery chain funded "atrocities on Palestinians," Hussain declared at the time.

The chairwoman of Munich’s Jewish community, Charlotte Knobloch, sent a letter of support to young German Zionist Gerald Hetzel, who campaigned against BDS, after he was attacked by activists and left bloodied in a street in the Bavarian capital.

The Jerusalem Post obtained a copy of Knobloch’s September letter and can first reveal that the Holocaust survivor wrote she was “horrified to learn of the attack on you after a lecture event in Munich. I would like to wish you all the best and a speedy recovery.”

Knobloch, who heads the largest regional Jewish community in Germany, covering Munich and Upper Bavaria with its roughly 9,500 members, added that “the frightening incident shows once again: Democratic society thrives on debate, discussion, and also on heated arguments between different positions, but never on violence. I wish you all the best and very much hope that your next stay in Munich is more enjoyable.”

A Jewish woman was stabbed at her home in the French city of Lyon on Saturday afternoon by an assailant who also daubed a swastika on her front door.

The 30-year-old woman was stabbed twice in the abdomen and taken to hospital. Her condition is now said to be stable and she is no longer in danger, the French newspaper Le Progres reported on Saturday night.

According to accounts of the attack in the French media, the attacker, described as a man dressed in dark clothing and wearing a mask, rang the victim’s doorbell “insistently.” The woman, whose home is identified as Jewish by the mezuzah on display, then answered the door. The assailant stabbed her twice before fleeing the scene of the attack, an apartment building on rue Jeanne-Hachette in the Montluc district of the city.

A statement from the Lyon public prosecutor’s office confirmed that an investigation had been opened into an attempted murder with a possible antisemitic motive.

Government statistics released earlier this week revealed that more than 800 antisemitic acts had been recorded in France since the Hamas atrocities in southern Israel on Oct. 7.

France was putting “very significant resources into protecting French people of the Jewish faith,” French Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin said in a television interview on Monday. According to figures from the interior ministry, 819 antisemitic incidents have been registered since the Hamas assault — almost double the 436 acts recorded during the entirety of 2022.

Attacks on the Jewish Community is nothing new. On individuals or their businesses, Synagogues and Schools is also nothing new.

From time to time there is a rise in Judeophobic, Antisemitic, Jew hatred acts, and we seem to be living in one of them.

It clearly started around five years ago. The rise in White Supremacy, Nazi, Christian and Muslim attacks on Jews in too many cities all over the world, simply because of being Jewish.

There are many excuses used to attack any Jew who comes their way.

Be the attacks on the streets, on Campuses, on the subways or anywhere else, they are clearly uncalled for and come from what each of those individuals who decide to attack one individual Jew - who has not done anything to them, or all Jews due to what they have wrongly learned about Israel, Judaism, Jewish history etc

I will be posting each individual case I do find in the news. There have been too many, which is why I decided to start this thread to deal with this more than common phenomenon, which did not look as bad as this since the Nazis took over Germany.
