The detail on the roof appeared to be under fire when the first round was shot, and it was probably because the shooter was seeing through his scope that the detail had finally identified him, so before they could take him out, he shot at them too throw them off balance so he could unleash the rest of his rounds at Trump. Once the detail recovered, and after the shooter got off around 5 rounds, they took the shooter out.

It actually looks like the detail on the roof took one in the vest on the front guy. He startled back, and his gun went off center in the tri-pod. The other SS guy looks as if he had to duck.

So did Trump get hit with the second round that was fired ?

Did the SS think that the guy on the roof was an SS officer checking out the roof top because it wasn't covered, so they were trying hard to get an ID on the guy, therefore losing valuable time in the situation because they didn't want to shoot one of their own ????
