From the pen of Bill Gates, a known climate activist (link), excerpt below:
Bill Gates said:
  • Climate change is serious, but we’ve made great progress. We need to keep backing the breakthroughs that will help the world reach zero emissions.
  • But we can’t cut funding for health and development—programs that help people stay resilient in the face of climate change—to do it.
  • It’s time to put human welfare at the center of our climate strategies, which includes reducing the Green Premium to zero and improving agriculture and health in poor countries.
There’s a doomsday view of climate change that goes like this:

In a few decades, cataclysmic climate change will decimate civilization. The evidence is all around us—just look at all the heat waves and storms caused by rising global temperatures. Nothing matters more than limiting the rise in temperature.

Fortunately for all of us, this view is wrong. Although climate change will have serious consequences—particularly for people in the poorest countries—it will not lead to humanity’s demise. People will be able to live and thrive in most places on Earth for the foreseeable future. Emissions projections have gone down, and with the right policies and investments, innovation will allow us to drive emissions down much further.

Unfortunately, the doomsday outlook is causing much of the climate community to focus too much on near-term emissions goals, and it’s diverting resources from the most effective things we should be doing to improve life in a warming world.
Bill Gates is basically taking the view that actual people are hurt by the kinds of restrictions and soft lockdowns the activists propose to stop "climate change." Others have expressed the view that Ten Years After the Paris Climate Agreement, Climatism Is Crumbling

article author said:
COP30, the UN climate conference, is underway in Belem, Brazil. Thousands of representatives from all over the world have journeyed to discuss how to cut carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions to try to fight human-caused climate change. But ten years after the Paris Climate Agreement, the global consensus on climate change is crumbling.....
Alternative für Deutschland, the number two political party in Germany, wants to tear down all wind turbines, calling them “windmills of shame.” Germany has more than 20,000 wind turbines installed, one of the highest densities in the world. Last month the Nationals party in Australia voted to abandon support for Net Zero. Nationals leader David Littleproud said, “We believe in reducing emissions, but not at any cost.” Australia, Germany, the UK, and other nations are struggling with escalating energy costs and no apparent benefit from Net Zero policies....What have thirty UN climate conferences accomplished since 1995? The answer is “no measurable climate benefit.” Since 2000, the world has spent about $10 trillion on renewable energy, but hydrocarbons─coal, natural gas, and oil─still provided 87% of world energy in 2024 according to the Energy Institute.
Climate change is an elite concern. They don't care if the WEF suggestion that people no longer own their own cars comes into effect. Those people will get their LYFT via UBER. Others may not enjoy lockdown so much.

In other words he wants greenies to be more sneaky about the whole thing because everyone is tired of the Trillions wasted on the Green Hoax.

The greenies are snakes in the grass just waiting for vile dems to win office so they can join with them on their grift streams.

Then again, "freezing" all tectonic plate movement today would gradually cool Earth as AA and Greenland would continue to add ice.

Communists and authoritarians want to control people and resources.

Climate alarmism, despite being easily falsified with just a little bit of digging, has been and will continue to be their most effective vehicle.

It's sad, the true believers are such gullible dupes, and those who are grifters and worse are just evil.

If those environmentalists were serious about climate change, they wouldn't allow Brazil to continue to remove hundreds of thousands of acres of rain forest every year.

Once again a stupid denialist flaunts his ignorance. Renewable generation, even with storage, is the least expensive way to generate electricity. The money being spent on wind and solar is a net plus. And there is another big factor, time. To build a nuclear plant takes years. You have to stand in line now to get one of the turbines for generation from coal or gas. Sometimes for years. Solar and wind projects can be done in a year or two. Also, solar and wind make for a more robust grid as there are multiple generation sites spread over the country, so a line can go down, or a site can go down, but the rest of the grid is up. Unlike nuclear or fossil fuel plants that are single source and cause large losses from the distance to the point of use.

Dumb-de-dumb dumb. No one has yet falsified the increasing temperature reading in the atmosphere and oceans. Gullible dupes? I bet you voted for a child rapist and 34 count convicted felon. Someone that has used Executive Orders in exactly the same manner as kings of old used decrees.

Just what a "bugs and bunnies" environmentalist would say as opposed to someone who knows how power grids and power generation actually work.

Continue to add ice? LOL You are going off the deep end. And distance from the pole is not the only determining factor in climate. In the PETM, there was a spike in CO2, and there were alligators not far from the North pole.

The Paleocene-Eocene Thermal Maximum (PETM) was primarily caused by the rapid release of greenhouse gases, particularly methane and carbon dioxide, from various geological sources.

Key

  1. Release of Methane Hydrates: One of the leading hypotheses is that the PETM was triggered by the sudden release of methane hydrates from ocean sediments. As ocean temperatures rose, these hydrates destabilized, releasing methane, a potent greenhouse gas, into the atmosphere.

    2
  2. Volcanic Activity: Significant volcanic eruptions, particularly in the North Atlantic region, are believed to have contributed to the PETM. These eruptions would have released large amounts of carbon dioxide and other gases, further enhancing the greenhouse effect and leading to rapid warming.

    2
  3. Coal and Organic Carbon: The combustion of coal deposits and the release of organic carbon from terrestrial sources may have also played a role. Volcanic activity could have disturbed coal seams, releasing additional methane and carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.

    1
  4. Wildfires: Evidence suggests that wildfires may have occurred during the PETM, contributing to the release of carbon into the atmosphere. However, the extent of this contribution is still debated among scientists.

    1
  5. Melting Permafrost: The melting of permafrost, which contains significant amounts of methane, could have added to the greenhouse gas concentrations during the PETM, although this is considered a less likely primary cause compared to the others.

It is for ice ages.

There is 100% correlation, and your side has ZERO evidence refuting it in the past.

ALL LAND today within 600 miles of an Earth pole is IN ICE AGE, all land outside of that is not.

The amount of ice on Earth is controlled by the position of land within 600 miles to the pole. 97% of Earth ice today is on the two land masses closest to the poles, AA and Greenland, and land moves.

there were alligators not far from the North pole

This is CO2 FRAUD lying again about tectonic plate movement. That land is near North Pole now but wasn't when the "alligators" were alive.

No one has yet falsified the increasing temperature reading in the atmosphere

Even NBC still admits it...

Continue to add ice?

What is an ICE CORE?

How do we get ICE CORES?

We get ice cores because EVERY YEAR AA AND GREENLAND PRINT A NEW LAYER OF ICE ON TOP.... EVERY ******* YEAR... RIGHT THROUGH CO2 FRAUD BULLSHIT "INTERGLACIALS"

THE ICE GROWS

from when the land gets within 600 miles to the pole = Greenland just froze

and doesn't end until

it gets more than 600 miles away from the pole = North America just melted

As I said, your delusion is easily falsified if you'd just look, but of course you will never look for anything that might disprove your beautiful cash machine and political weapon.

Falsification is science. No scientific theory or experiment can be considered valid if it can't stand up to necessary attempts to disprove it.

The scientific fact of CO2 saturation and observable data of negative feedbacks is really all that is needed to expose Anthropogenic Climate Change for the fraud that it is.

But for you, "the debate is over". You have no interest in scientific facts or truth.

You are a shill for a massive fraud.

I enjoyed my November cruise in the Caribbean with temps in the upper 80s every day! Came back to snow flurries in GA and TN as I headed home.
