When they had no qualms about making 9 year olds cross mine fields in their war with Iraq, we got the hint that they dont value the same things as most of the world. You can always tell when the right wing loons are painted into a corner...they are justifying the bombing of a girl’s school. I suspect when Woodward writes his book about this sad episode in the blob’s administration that we’ll find out a lot of the firings/resignations in our officer corps was over this event and whether or not the administration should “take the hit” for it--that the bad publicity was more important than just admitting we fukked up.
