Today, I was reading this: A Vaccine Question for the FDA
First, in general, the documentation is highly reassuring. For example, here are the efficacy numbers for various demographic subgroups. I can sum them up by saying that basically, the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine appears to be about 95% effective for virtually everybody, young and old, male and female, white and black, obese and slender:
