I worked in Arizona in the 70's and early 80's. I was on the Mexican border in Nogales, Arizona. It was common for many families to live in one house. Also, I worked in south Texas around Edinburg, Pharr, and other places right on the Mexican border. And, it was the same as in Arizona, many families living in one house. They would work in construction in Arizona and in the produce fields and processing sheds in south Texas. When I was in south Texas, inspecting produce for the U.S.D.A., I couldn't understand a word they were saying, and had a hard time doing my job most of the time. Later, when I went to L.A., I saw them everywhere, and the same scenario as in Arizona and Texas. So, my guess is that they're doing the same thing today when they come across the border. I don't know where else they could be living. Well, maybe the government is housing them now. It' strange that we never see anything about it on the news.
