Well I read the article. Seems like Morgan is saying that those who think everyone should have a gun is expecting the good guy to stop the bad guy. Well yeah, duh. When there is only one "good" guy and they are not where the bad guy is killing people then no one is there to stop the killer. Just as crime is lower in areas where conceal carry is permitted and legal gun ownership is not impeded, soldiers who can protect themselves are less likely to be massacred by a lunatic.

I thought carrying loaded guns was not allowed at gun shows. That makes them "gun free zones".

The only shootings I can remember hearing at at gun shows have been when one of the experts shot himself.

Most women would be keeping the gun in a purse..making it unavailable until the rapist is done and goes through it.

I train women in self defense with handguns and they are trained to walk with their hand on their weapon and their first shots are taken before they ever take their weapons out of the purse. I would imagine most women who carry have been taught this technique.
