It makes you a hypocrite. You're here beating your chest about prosecuting criminals but then turn around and support Trump even though he's a criminal.

If Trump uses the government to beat up peaceful left wing protestors, he won't lose your support. If Trump uses the government to prosecute enemies and protect allies who do the exact same crimes, he won't lose your support. If Trump corruptly pardons people who commit crimes on his behalf against people you hate, he won't lose your support.

For example, DoJ announced their formal policy is to not prosecute people who violate the FACE act (unless they literally kill someone) when the victim is an abortion clinic. That demonstrates they are acting politically, since their side does not like abortion clinics.

Considering he was intent on overturning the election by having state legislatures appoint electors for him despite the votes of the people of the state, it looks like he actually never really cared that much about public support.

23 people were pardoned. Some blocked the outside of clinics, some got into clinics. Both are equally illegal as part of the FACE act.

I know it's difficult, but you have to stop conflating different people doing different things.

The main thing they did was be loud and interrupting. The first amendment is likely to come into play because the government can't criminalize being loud and interrupting.

If they were in a public venue, I'd say you'd have an argument, but according to the law, you can't go into a church and get loud and disrupt service...

That said, David Easterwood, a pastor at that church, is a terrible human being that probably should be charged with crimes in his official capacity as acting ICE director in St. Paul.
