Influx of out-of-state agitators with links to dark money group among Delaney Hall arrests: ‘Organized anarchy’

14 Jun 2026 ~~ By Geoff Earle, Gabrielle Fahmy & Sonya Gugliara

An influx of out-of-state agitators — some hailing from elite backgrounds — were arrested in Newark during the chaotic standoff with law enforcement outside the Delaney Hall migrant detention center, The Post has learned.
Out of the at least 12 anti-ICE rioters arrested last weekend for assaulting federal agents or smashing cars, four came from as far as Washington State, Colorado, Arizona and Illinois to wreak havoc on the Garden State, according to information from the Newark Police Department and arrest sheets reviewed by The Post.
Another was from Connecticut and five from New York — most of them recent transplants to the city.
Only three were from New Jersey, where the violent clashes have raged for three weeks since 300 detainees went on a hunger strike over what they claimed were inhumane conditions inside.
At least two have ties to one of the dark money groups clamoring to “shut down Delaney Hall” and “abolish ICE” since the unrest began, according to information from social media.
“There’s an organized effort to create anarchy. It is insane to me,” Rep. Jeff Van Drew (R-NJ) told The Post. “This is America. We have the rule of law and that has to be stopped.”

Solomon Dunston, 28, who was arrested for rioting and failure to disperse and is one of the few who actually grew up in New Jersey, touted the Sunrise Movement on his Facebook page, urging others to join the group.
The nonprofit is funded by mega-donors that include far-left billionaire George Soros and boasts $2.6 million in revenue and $4.9 million in assets, according to its 2024 tax filings.
“For 19 days…Sunrise organizers have been on the ground at Delaney Hall in New Jersey” it bragged on its Instagram, along with daily pictures and videos of the standoff.
The organization, founded in 2017 as a climate activist group, has since pivoted to anti-ICE mayhem, including chaotic protests in Minnesota.

“It’s a web of organizations, transactions and then you’ve got these people who recruit these individuals that I would call mules — and they throw them out in front and use them like a mule, the way that a cartel would.”
None of the other arrested protesters answered calls or returned The Post’s messages. The Sunrise Movement also didn’t respond to messages seeking comment.

Commentary:
We need good, moral people in our governments and in the judicial system to bust the organizations that fund the rioting. Unfortunately, we don't have any. Democrats and their fellow travelers the Socialist Marxists have infected American politics like a metastasizing cancer.
Every perp arrested needs to be indicted, prosecuted, and jailed for a long time if convicted. And the goons that fund this should suffer the same fate. The punishment should be structured to be swift and severe.
All These so called peaceful Democrat groups are paid for by stolen taxpayer money, the CCP, and Soros money. And now Americans are seeing the violent side of the Democrat trained groups. Don't forget they accused Republicans and MAGA of doing this. But they were already doing it . Back in President Trump's first term.
Once again all roads lead to George Soros and his son.

Doc, the statist left is a glow-ball(PUN on my part!) religion just like islam is a global religion. Your frustration as well as mine & many others is that WE(the morally correct in our opinion) on our side of the fence appear to get bogged down in a battle that I refer to as the battle of the morally correct vs. the morally incorrect. Our Maker appears to be too slow of foot @ times for his followers(me included) & that can be a real downer for us who are doing our best to understand the incomprehensible.

"The lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as SOME understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but for everyone to come to repentance."(2 Peter 3:9 NIV)

Hang in there like it's the best any of us can do in these difficult times. Keep your posts a coming!

The Marxist playbook continues.

But people are waking up.

The mid terms are going to be.....

Hilarious.

Many on the left don't have anything better to do than protest, as many of them don't work. They just sit around waiting to be contacted, get paid, then off to protest. Doesn't matter what for.
