The president has no security clearance because as president he has total access to classified documents. When he is no longer president that access no longer exist. However, an ex-president can be granted special access by the current president. This usually occurs when an ex-president acts as an advisor to the current president and that access is needed.

The reason they raided Trump's home was because Biden revoked Trump's clearance or his need to know....which means he lied when he said he had no prior notice of the raid.
Presidents can revoke clearances of previous presidents if they feel the urge to....and that's pretty much what started this mess.
But then the president has to have a valid reason to do so.
Trump was thinking on revoking Obama's but chose not to.

A president's access to classify material stops when he leaves office. No one has to revoke it. Thus Biden would only have to revoke Trump's access if he gave him special access and the chance of that ever happening is about zero. Any president that would trust Trump with classified documents should not be president.

Of course it's a delaying tactic. This is how Trump has handled multiple charges, and thousands of law suits, delay, delay, delay. In this case, he wants to delay court actions till he starts his campaign so he can play the poor me card, being attacked again by the big bad government run by democrats. If he get's elected he squashes the investigation. If get's convicted he pardon's himself. So as soon as the Special Master is done, expect another delay. He has appointed a lot of federal judges and he can always find one that will return the favor.

Where does it say the DOJ or the FBI is untrustworthy. The purpose of the special master in the order was to find documents of Attorney Client Privilege or Executive Privilege document. No such document would be a part a classified document and it is unlikely to be part of any Presidential Record. There is no order for the Special Master to audit the work of DOJ or FBI. This is just a delaying tactic by a Trump appointed judge.

No, just the only one that keeps hundreds of classified documents and thousands of presidential document both which are the property of federal government.

That's not the question here. He did turn over several boxes. He didn't destroy evidence like Hillary did. They used those boxes to create a Grand Jury to investigate him.

According to the Director of National Achieves, they received 30 boxes of which 15 had classified documents in January 2021. A number of Presidential Documents had been redacted, some were torn up and had to be pieced back together and other were totally destroyed.

Trump turned over a few dozen. The FBI found a hundred more.

It wasn’t complicated. Documents with classified markings aren’t exactly inconspicuous.

They cannot be trusted because of the leaks. It shows either they're doing so to taint the jury pool or they have no control of the cops that work in the FBI.

Counting the FBI, there are 113,000 employees in DOJ and everyone has heard something or talk to someone who did. So there is going be leaks, most of them nonsense. We still are a long way from trial and a jury pool.
