Apparently they expect the government to pay for everything for them. Is it that they are too dumb to realize revenue pays for our military, public schools and highways etc.?
The newest republican tax cut proposal would add 440 billion to our national debt. More proof republicans don't give a shit about the issue
The Republican Party s top priority is to raise taxes on the poor. Literally.
A battle over taxes divides Democrats. More to come - The Washington Post
To be a mooch you actually have to mooch something. The rich pay their taxes, so calling them "mooches" is pure slander.
Furthermore,
the rich generally don't use government services. They put their children in private schools and they have their own private security.
Your claim is simply a bald faced lie.
Well, that's bullshit. If they use a road, a bridge, a bank, a car, an airplane, or a telephone, a television, drink city water, protected by the police and fire department services, or the military, or have their trash hauled away, they are, directly or indirectly, using government services. Are there any other stupid right wing comments you care to make?
Horseshit. Using a bank, telephone, a television, drinking water and fire protection don't require the use of government services.
It is statements like these that lead me to say that people like you should move to another country that enjoys having idiots for patriots. Banks are insured by the government. The government makes the money. Telephone service is regulated by the government. Nearly every water company and fire department in the country is a government service, dufus.

I assume using a road and a car cover the same thing, using government built roads, but there's no reason roads can't be private. In fact, most roads in residential areas are private. Trash service is often provided by private companies. Airports are city owned, but there are private airports, and there's no reason all airports can't be privately owned.
1) there is every reason why the roads are primarily publically owned. First, to ensure everyone access to them. Secondly, to ensure that they are adequately maintained. if you think a private corporation can and will maintain our roads, I have a bridge I can sell you for a song.

Furthermore, the question was whether the rich benefit from government services, not whether they use them. For the most part, they don't use them. The ones they do use they pay far too much for to receive inferior service. In other words, they don't benefit from government services. They suffer, as we all do, from so-called government services.
If they use them, they benefit from them. We all use them whether we realize it or not. Britpatnut, you really should ask for a refund on your education, because - damn.
