Really?

Just normal cold weather for this time of year and they have to hype it?

If their model turns out to be 100% correct it's supposed to hit 30 for a high in my AO.

I'll make sure I put enough firewood inside so I don't die of exposure going out to get it.....Jeez.

Actually, with the increase in homelessness under Joe Biden this does pose a bigger threat to life in the US than at any other time in US history.

Maybe they will be one of the lucky ones and overdose on drugs and die as they do at a rate of about 400 people a day now thanks to open borders and the Biden administration basically legalizing drugs

The winter of 2013-14 was brutal. We were just talking about it over Christmas. It started snowing in early Jan here and didn't stop until the end of March--and it was so cold. I remember I hit the wall driving to work one morning in mid-March...the temp my car read was -12 air temp. UGH no thanks.

I judge cold winters by hunting seasons.....One late fall/winter in the 90s it snowed around 8" and then got cold about a week before Thanksgiving and it, and the ensuing snows, stayed on the ground till early May in some of the colder low spots. I remember seeing ice in the ditches during Spring Gobbler season!

After hunting season ended (the first week in Jan) I really did not care what it did.

Hopefully, the weather will be good on 20 January in Washington for the millions on hand to listen to YMCA and do the official dance.

If its going to be bad weather, maybe its time to move the inauguration down to Daytona Beach?

NWS has you down to the mid-20's for lows ... that's cold enough to paralyze the roads ... if this is all month you can expect a number of Alberta Clippers and blizzard conditions ... are your affairs in order, have you kept your will updated? ...

You get this every ten years? ... Lord have mercy ... why are you still there? ...

It's more about agricultural effects and energy supplies and about dying when you go out to get firewood, but you go ahead and minimize the whole thing because it doesn't have much effect on you personally, its fine.

You retard I live thousands of feet above sea level. It's currently a WARM 20 degrees out! And so far we have gotten about 100 inches of snow, which is a little on the low side for this time of year.

Guess what, there's thousands of people up here having fun.

Wow. That's a lot of snow. Did you make a snowman? ☃️

Heck no! I have to keep the tunnel to the driveway open, then keep the driveway open to the street! That's a long way!

That explains the warm weather we are getting now. We haven't had that much snow yet. Normally we get about a foot or more around this time. It has only been a few inches here and there.

Places like Chicago and parts of Minnesota usually get it worse than we do.
