Are you one of the 97 million Americans that work for or depend on the Federal Government? You are now "up a creek".

There are a total of 95 million Americans that depend on the Federal government for help. That is 1/4th of all Americans who would be affected in some way with the Federal work force being cut down.
It's about time. They need to cut spending.

I agree. Cut the military spending and we will do much better.............Oh wait, Trump doesn't want to cut military spending............hhhmmm, so where are the cuts coming? oh yeah, social security, medicare, child services and help for the needy. Great areas to cut. Military = Healthy and Population = Sick and Needy

Only time will tell.

I have never depended upon the government, except for my 6 year enlistment in the Army, and they also depended upon me.

I currently am retired and receive no government benefits, nor have I ever received any outside of my enlistment.

Usually the loudest detractors of the government are those who depend on it the most. Reminds me of a former acquaintance who gets a disability check from the government for a "wrist injury" from his time in the Army (never seen him show any pain in all the time I knew him) and he is literally pushing for a 100% rating. Hates any government Trump is not in charge of.
I'm surprised. Based upon your degree political acumen and knowledge of the world, I took you for a 20 year old black man living in the projects who kept his baby mamma preggers for the welfare money.

It is a government spending-cuts thing, which is intended to solve some of the over-spending that is being done, but like everything that Trump does, it is an extreme solution that is highly likely to cause more problems that it solves. In addition, it is "My way or the highway" thinking that does not involve anyone other than Republicans for the decision being made.

Not only is it "over the top and extreme", but it is a dictator's approach to taking total power.

Our democracy is at risk of being lost.

Guess you haven't heard yet. The US federal government has spent around 35 TRILLION dollars more than they had. Time for the milk in the tit to run dry.

Yes, I agree. It is time to trim the military defense budget. Heck, we could trim 85% of it and still have a bigger military budget than Russia has.

Except you aren't king. We have a congress that debates the budget. IMHO, defense of the country is much more important than redundant give away programs to lazy Americans who haven't got enough ambition to support themselves----among other wasteful programs and practices.

It's time to trim it all, and, in many places, we should cut and slash everything we can, up to 100%.

Yes, let's abandon those who can no longer carry their own weight and make sure that the rich can do their thing without worrying about having to pay more taxes.

We do need to be thoughtful of them...................poor things, they are so needy of more.

American's voted to no longer do it the progressive democrat way....So, yes, you are fucked....And rightfully so.

They've leeched from the Government all of their working lives....Time to get booted into the real world....

I have been warning you idiots about your over reach since Obama, and before, now you're going to see why....

There is nothing in the constitution that says the federal government will be your mommy. Those that are invalids are graciously cared for. Anyone else that has no ambition can depend on their own families or the charity of their communities. Tax dollars are not to be treated as charity.

Most of them can carry their own weight if you make them.

You say that like it’s a bad thing.

You say that like it’s a bad thing.
Well, that is not a bad thing for the 25% that don't need or use the Federal services. Nonetheless and even for me (that I economically well off), I am a veteran and sick and handicapped and do go to the Veterans hospital all the time and pay in copay for medicines about $150 a month, that now will be more expensive. meaning that because of Trump I will have less money than with Trump. In addition, I often have to wait months to see a doctor (due to the low amount of doctors there and high amount of veterans) and now I will have to wait even longer as there will be less doctors/nurses/personnel.

I and everyone else (75% of the population) that has some positives that come from the government, we certainly will feel the effect of Trump.

With you being in the 25% of the ones that will not be affected by Trump's cuts, tell me what positives you think you will now receive that you were not receiving before? How will this help the other 1/4 of the population? I do mean personally
