Are you a Republican? If so, do you have the guts to watch this video and address the issues stated?

Put it another way. If I fell off a ladder and broke my arm, and I don't have insurance, is it right to sign up for Allstate and demand they pay for it? That's what you're demanding with "pre-existing conditions coverage"
If you fell off a ladder and broke your arm you would still receive medical care.

In orangeville, you might not.

So what? Nobody ever said Trump's a saint. The reality of life is your democrats promise things daily they know full well it's not a plan at all, and would never fly. Fuck, Kamala's campaign is nothing but, same Xiden/Kamala admin.

We like Trump because he's often bluntly honest, and more than that he's highly capable. Democrats are nothing but fluff and accusations. Often their accusations are confessions, racism being a great example.
This might be the most superficial take I've seen so far on voting for the orange bag O' shit. I appreciate the honesty. Thanks! :113:

Not at all because your rebuttal failed

Here is reality directly from Trump's mouth

He promised to repeal Obamacare 15 times and never did. In addition, when asked if he would put in better health care if reelected and his answer was "I have plans (no specifics)".

In the video, even more than the 15 times shown here are shown. Your rebuttal was done without even looking at the factual evidence.

News flash. Trump cannot repeal Obamacare. Congress has to do that. He as President can propose the repeal, urge the repeal--he certainly did that along with good proposals for what should replace it. And he can sign any legislation passed. So Congress didn't act but he got a lot done via executive order. And he didn't get his second term that more good things could have happened. I doubt seriously that you bothered to read my rebuttal but even if you did, reading comprehension isn't generally a strong suit of the left.

He's a comic for crying out loud and not a very funny one... maybe you should try getting your news from news agencies like FOX or SKY news... no wonder your head is so full of misinformation....

Fox had to admit that they weren't a news organization. They are an entertainment channel, nothing more. They have the same credibility as Comedy Central.

You need to explain in detail how showing videos of what Trump has said and done is a roast. Jimmy did not give a personal comment of his views during the entire video, as such, how can you call it a roast?

Jimmy did not give a personal comment of his views during the entire video,

?? Yes, did, all through the video.

This election is very close and it is possible that Trump will win. I happen to believe that it is absolute craziness that Trump can even be considered a person worthy of being president. Common sense would say "no", but evidently common sense has disappeared from half of all Americans.

Having said all of the above, here is a video that was made by Jimmy Kimmel yesterday that is meant to be seen by Republicans. In fact, he begs Republicans to watch it. It is a video about common sense.

Do you have the guts to watch it and comment on the issues that Jimmy shows?

I do not want to hear comments about Jimmy Kimmel. Whatever you think of him (or me) of our hate for Trump, that is not the point. This is not about our bias toward Trump. This is not about opinion!

This is about factual events and statements that Trump has stated and done. Do you dare face your own bias?

I await you reply, but then only if you watched the video and comment on the issues in it. I will not answer any post that does not do both of those.

Kimmel is a hypocritical douchebag.

Nuance? Does truth and reality have nuance? what is, IS. If you can't face reality, then go and hide under you bed and stay there.

Yes, there is nuance and context to everything. Kimmel pulled a bunch of clips, from who knows where and put them all under a heading, that we don’t know if those clips were related to that heading.

Some of those clips were pretty vague.

Show me ONE example.
At 4:31 in the video, which is the start of several comments and attacks from him.

You didn’t watch the video, did you?

"You would think that Donald Trump after 4 years of being president, would have some answers to health care and child care"

Where is that a criticism? It is a true statement followed by a question!!!!!!

I did not find any of the videos vague. By the way, all the videos were of issues that are important to Americans. Nothing was about things that mean nothing.

That is true but then he did promise it and he did have a majority in Congress as he had both the House and the Senate in his favor for 2 years.

The big thing is that he PROMISED something that he was not in a position to accomplish. As such, his promise was a LIE. He should have said "I shall try to get better health care". He said "I promise I will repeal Obamacare and give you something better". He not only failed in his promise but NEVER came out with anything better, not even on paper.

It was on paper. And we don't know if he would have accomplished it or not as he was denied a second term in 2020. And it is a strange thing that a President would be accused of lying when it is Congress and the Supreme Court who denied him the ability to keep a promise at least in the early going.

What politician EVER commits to more than one line of intentions in campaign promises? None in my lifetime. They don't say, I will push Congress to pass. . .they say I will do it. Every single one of them going all the way back to JFK which is the first campaign I paid close attention to.

Show me a single time Kamala has declared she will do something IF Congress passes the legislation which would be necessary in most of her campaign promises. No, she too says "I will do it." I will say she doesn't mean most of her promises based on her track record, but I don't disingenuously accuse her of lying because she states them as fact. It's just the way campaign rhetoric is done.

Trump most obviously did mean it when he said he would repeal Obamacare and the House did vote to repeal it. With a razor thin majority and too many RINOs voting with the Democrats, it didn't make it through the Senate.

At least be honest. If you are going to accuse Trump of lying because he was unable to get Obamacare repealed in his first four years, at least admit Obama was just as much of a 'liar' in all the things he promised to do that didn't get done in eight years.
--repeal the Bush tax cuts for higher incomes. Never got done.
--close the Guantanamo Detention Center (he could have done that by exec order. It is still open)
--Create a cap and trade system to combat global warming--the House passed that one, the Senate refused.
--Sign the 'Employee Free Choice Act" to make it easier to unionize. Again Congress refused.
--Allow imported prescription drugs--he dropped that one to get doctors to support the ACA
--One thing he promised to do immediately when elected was sign an act guaranteeing abortion rights. He didn't even try.
--Establish the National Health Insurance Exchange. It was was not included in the final ACA legislation.
--Pathway to citizenship for illegal immigrants--he didn't even try.
--Bring Democrats and Republicans together to pass legislation. He was the most divisive President in history up to that point as illustrated by his “They can come for the ride, but they gotta sit in back" line referring to the Republicans in Congress.

There is such a thing as intellectual honesty in these things. Honorable people do not characterize their opponents or make political demands of them they do not do to those they support. Obama wasn't lying when he made those promises on the campaign trail. He intended to do them but couldn't or they just weren't priorities later on.

So could an honorable TDS afflicted never Trumper at least cut Trump an equal amount of slack there?

CC has more credibility.

Okay, lets talk about Obama's presidency. Obama never had Congress on his side and it was clearly evident that anything Obama offered would be put down by the Republicans, given that Obama was a Black man "and" a Republican.

Having said that, he ended up with a higher percentage (33% vs 25%) of promises kept than Trump (who did have Congress on his side for 2 years

Barack Obama's top 25 campaign promises: How'd he do?

and on promises kept "and" compromised on, he also was better (74% vs 47%).

Obameter : Tracking Obama's promises | PolitiFact

As far as Trump's Health Plan, he had NONE! His only plan was to get rid of Obamacare but he never proposed anything else (I looked and could not find anything). One thing he did do that was a big negative is the following:

Made It Harder for Eligible People to Get Coverage

  • Slashed consumer outreach and enrollment assistance. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) slashed funding for outreach by 90 percent and for the navigator program’s enrollment assistance and outreach by more than 80 percent. These cuts alone caused an estimated 500,000 to 1 million people to lose coverage.
The one thing that is clearly evident in the Jimmy Kimmel video and in the information here (given above) is that not only was Trump incompetent and a failure and liar but he really does not care about the welfare of Americans. At least not those that are not filthy rich.
