It is difficult to sit here and think/remember/cite all the things that Trump has done badly that I did not mention on the list, such as one thing that I left out of the list was the 14 businesses he failed at. Having said that, one thing that I try to make people see is the pattern of thinking that is in Trump's mind. Yes, it is an insignificant thing whether he was eaten by a shark or electrocuted or whether saying windmills cause cancer or not. Evidently that is not important unless you are living next to a windmill (which 99.9% of the population is not doing),Thanks, anyway. I can't validate the healthcare thing. The healthcare system in the US was totally fucked long before he was in office, and failing to deliver on campaign promises is pretty common, unfortunately. The childcare thing I'd need you to elaborate on. The sex change thing is hyperbole, but Trump uses hyperbole all the time, and the fact is that sketchy shit of that nature does happen. I dunno about windmills, and don't really care. I don't care if Trump would rather be eaten by a shark or electrocuted. This sounds like pretty typical fundraising. I'm not a Christian so I don't care about him being Christian or not. The Haitians eating the pets thing I'm not convinced is fake. It's unfortunately quite common now for candidates to claim there was fraud if they lose. Al Gore did it, Clinton did it, and now Trump.
None of these are terribly compelling points. They're all nebulous abstractions and mostly just pedantic attacks on his character. I mean, do you think I give a shit if he can cite scripture or not? Or if he's selling bibles or something? I remember gas was cheap, and goods were cheap. And at the end of this all, all of this is just talking about why you shouldn't vote for Trump, and none of it tells me why I should vote for Harris.
The one thing we all want from a president is a clear thinker that does key on what is important to the nation, with "key" being the most important. The list I presented shows that his mind is not clear and that he is not keying on the issues only. He keys on things that are important to him (being popular, getting praise, helping those rich people that help him personally, having fun rather than governing like the fact that he spent 25% of his days while in office playing golf but saying he would spend every day working for the nation).
To finish it off and thinking about what he did do in his days in office (like divide the nation, like mishandling the Covid pandemic where hundreds of thousands of Americans died "unnecessarily", like generating hate, like doing things that are short term solutions but that bring long term consequences (tariffs that in the long term are inflationary and tax cuts that raise the debt), and like alienating other Democratic World leaders while getting closer to Autocrats), it becomes clear that Trump was not good overall. Yes, he did overall help people in the short-term and there was no inflation while in office but then again, inflation was world wide (not just here) and as such, cannot be totally blamed on Biden and helping people was only short-term.
It is clear by everything stated here and in the other post that Trump is not a solution overall and that he brings more negatives than positives, at least to the nation overall (not just to the few that are with him).
