Are you a Republican? If so, do you have the guts to watch this video and address the issues stated?

Thanks, anyway. I can't validate the healthcare thing. The healthcare system in the US was totally fucked long before he was in office, and failing to deliver on campaign promises is pretty common, unfortunately. The childcare thing I'd need you to elaborate on. The sex change thing is hyperbole, but Trump uses hyperbole all the time, and the fact is that sketchy shit of that nature does happen. I dunno about windmills, and don't really care. I don't care if Trump would rather be eaten by a shark or electrocuted. This sounds like pretty typical fundraising. I'm not a Christian so I don't care about him being Christian or not. The Haitians eating the pets thing I'm not convinced is fake. It's unfortunately quite common now for candidates to claim there was fraud if they lose. Al Gore did it, Clinton did it, and now Trump.
None of these are terribly compelling points. They're all nebulous abstractions and mostly just pedantic attacks on his character. I mean, do you think I give a shit if he can cite scripture or not? Or if he's selling bibles or something? I remember gas was cheap, and goods were cheap. And at the end of this all, all of this is just talking about why you shouldn't vote for Trump, and none of it tells me why I should vote for Harris.
It is difficult to sit here and think/remember/cite all the things that Trump has done badly that I did not mention on the list, such as one thing that I left out of the list was the 14 businesses he failed at. Having said that, one thing that I try to make people see is the pattern of thinking that is in Trump's mind. Yes, it is an insignificant thing whether he was eaten by a shark or electrocuted or whether saying windmills cause cancer or not. Evidently that is not important unless you are living next to a windmill (which 99.9% of the population is not doing),

The one thing we all want from a president is a clear thinker that does key on what is important to the nation, with "key" being the most important. The list I presented shows that his mind is not clear and that he is not keying on the issues only. He keys on things that are important to him (being popular, getting praise, helping those rich people that help him personally, having fun rather than governing like the fact that he spent 25% of his days while in office playing golf but saying he would spend every day working for the nation).

To finish it off and thinking about what he did do in his days in office (like divide the nation, like mishandling the Covid pandemic where hundreds of thousands of Americans died "unnecessarily", like generating hate, like doing things that are short term solutions but that bring long term consequences (tariffs that in the long term are inflationary and tax cuts that raise the debt), and like alienating other Democratic World leaders while getting closer to Autocrats), it becomes clear that Trump was not good overall. Yes, he did overall help people in the short-term and there was no inflation while in office but then again, inflation was world wide (not just here) and as such, cannot be totally blamed on Biden and helping people was only short-term.

It is clear by everything stated here and in the other post that Trump is not a solution overall and that he brings more negatives than positives, at least to the nation overall (not just to the few that are with him).

Well, I'm sure if we put our backs into it, we could make huge lists of every bad thing a president did. Understandably it's frustrating. It is for me as well. I think to say that you get him as a person, or understand the inner workings of his mind based on stuff you see on TV is premature. Presumptuous, even, if I may be so bold. As for the issues you named, again a lot of it is nebulous. I particularly disagree with your comments on hate and division. I mean, of course people are going to be divided if they have different opinions. I'm not gonna give up having an opinion of my own just for the sake of unity. I have a right to disagree. And I think the hatred thing falls into a similar category. As for the democratic rulers/autocrats, I don't think many of these democratic countries are as democratic as they claim to be. Nor are they as friendly to us as you think. I think it's exaggerating to say that he brought us closer to autocratic countries because he engaged in good faith diplomacy with them.
COVID is a whole can of worms that I don't care to get into. While it wasn't perfectly handled, there was a response, there was a lot of questionable reporting around it, and ultimately it was a problem totally out of left field. I mean, how many people SHOULD have died? How'd you arrive at such a figure? How do you even have an accurate idea of how many died?
Regarding tariffs and whatnot, I'm not really a macroeconomist, and even if I was...economics aren't really a science. Economists are routinely wrong, and it's ultimately very difficult to predict that X policy will have Y outcome. And of course with debt increases, that's...not on the ballot. Debt will increase regardless of who you vote for, and how hard you vote for them.
You may be right that he isn't the solution. However, I'd urge you to consider the possibility that there aren't any solutions to many of these issues. At least not at the ballot box.

It does sound to me like "excuses" for Trump's handling of things. Bottom line, there were other people in the world that have done things "better than Trump" and we are supposed to be the #1 nation in the world and should expect to have the best people running the country................and not someone we have to excuse more than laud his decisions.

In addition, Trump has shown his incompetence throughout his life. See this video and understand what I am saying:

"Supposed to." "Should." Yeah, it ought to be that way, but it's become clear that cheap gas and cheap goods are about as good as we can realistically hope for.

Have you "ever" thought that perhaps it was the pandemic that has killed 7 million people (as well as putting over 100 million people worldwide in hospitals or unable to work for weeks or months) and caused huge problems in supplying and delivering products to everyone, as well as causing businesses worldwide to close as being the main reason that we do not have cheap gas or goods?

Did Biden cause the pandemic to occur?

The pandemic closed far less businesses than governments did by force. COVID appeared before Biden came into office. He had advance warning. Things got worse. The public was gaslit and told that everything is okay. I mean, someone has to take responsibility. He's the captain of the ship. In any case, it doesn't really matter since he dropped out.

This election is very close and it is possible that Trump will win. I happen to believe that it is absolute craziness that Trump can even be considered a person worthy of being president. Common sense would say "no", but evidently common sense has disappeared from half of all Americans.

Having said all of the above, here is a video that was made by Jimmy Kimmel yesterday that is meant to be seen by Republicans. In fact, he begs Republicans to watch it. It is a video about common sense.

Do you have the guts to watch it and comment on the issues that Jimmy shows?

I do not want to hear comments about Jimmy Kimmel. Whatever you think of him (or me) of our hate for Trump, that is not the point. This is not about our bias toward Trump. This is not about opinion!

This is about factual events and statements that Trump has stated and done. Do you dare face your own bias?

I await you reply, but then only if you watched the video and comment on the issues in it. I will not answer any post that does not do both of those.

/----/ Jimmy Kimmel ???? I can't stop laughing. A late night comendian --- and you take home seriously. I didn't bother to watch.

again, it sounds like excuses.

By the way, have you ever seen the video I put here below? It shows you what Trump did and did not do that made the pandemic worse. It also caused Biden to face a bigger problem that he would ever had to face. Keep in mind that when Trump left office, the pandemic was "still growing due partly to Trumps handling of it" and had a bigger problem to solve than Trump did.

This video is not opinion or political. It is simply a timeline of what Trump did or did not do

Trump was partly to blame for the problems we are facing.

I'm not going to argue with videos. You're an adult and can state your own case without just copy pasting some talking heads' stuff. If I just wanted to argue with videos and copy pasted responses I'd talk to a bot. January 20 or 21st? Donald Trump was not in office. End of story. To try and pass the buck for four years is...well, if you're happy with making that your case, fine. But I and plenty of others aren't sold. The president is responsible for the things that happen during his presidency.

Of course you didn't watch it. You don't want facts to hit you in face. You are a coward. You are not even willing to spend 15 minutes in looking at something that affects all Americans so that you can actually address the OP and agree or disagree with what was said. Not only are you a coward but you also are disrespectful as you are stating that what I and Kimmel see as facts/truths are to be thrown in the garbage.

You are an idiot.

Now you are showing your "true colors".

The video is all FACTS but you are not willing to spend even a few minutes in getting them. The video shows the facts much better than I can "state my case" and that is what debates are all about................showing facts in the best way possible. The video is very well done.

Anyhow, I can see now that you are just a good "talker" (like Trump) and just are trying to scam/con your beliefs unto others. You are not willing to debate.

I'm willing to debate you, not a bot that just reposts other people's opinions for ad revenue. If you suck at stating your case, then you're not gonna improve just by parroting other people's opinions. Although, let's not kid ourselves, neither of us is gonna convince the other. I was already more than generous enough to engage with the first.

Once again and I did point it our CLEARLY.

The video is not "someone else's OPINION". It is a timeline of actions by Trump. I have no desire to spend time putting that timeline and showing what it meant here for you, when the video does it very well (better than I ever could) and does it visually (not just words) that is also something that is more understandable.

Bitch all you want but the bottom line is that you do not show any desire to actually debate the issue. You want me to do it YOUR WAY and not the way that is more understandable.

You can deceive without making any false statements. It's called a lie by omission. Anyway, I'm not giving you any ad revenue. Sorry. You wanna talk about my desire to argue but you can't be bothered to do anything more than copy and paste.

Edit: advertising is against the rules, FYI.

There is no advertising going on in the video. It is one where even a subscription to the video producers is NOT seen. It is simply information.

Anyhow, I can see that you truly are finding excuses for debating with me on the issue. You did it previously with other posts and have done it here again.

That is fine with me. My agenda is not to change anyone's mind as that is not something I (or anyone else except Trump) can do. My agenda is to make information available to others so that they (like I) can make "informed" decisions.

As such, you can think whatever you like. I have DONE my job and made the information available
