Since we have recently given up our reputation and credibility in favor of purely transactional relationships and are more predatory than dependable, the world is having to adjust. I've spent a lot of time viewing commentary from around the world, from our former friends and former allies -- from the dollar to our military and intelligence reach -- and that's definitely what they're saying, at least. As are family members who live overseas. They looked at America, for all its faults, as a stabilizing factor overall. Not any more.

The world is adjusting, so we'll see.

There apparently hasn't been any charges brought or even suggested for whoever runs that facility, or their employment records seized, as far as I know. How far does anyone think this will proceed? Is it just an exercise or are we serious? I honestly think it's lasted longer than I expected already, the opportunity is definitely there to make this work.

That sounds nice. The real world is about conquering and taking advantage of each other. We are overdue for a huge war. To many crazy people with gripes and a percentage of them in power. China is doing the conquest act magnificently. They have infiltrated out nation it seems at every level in public and private concerns. They have influenced our education to lower the standards also. Many of their military, infrastructure and industrial projects look a lot like ours and they actually have taken the lead in building great things. They still need to up their quality and safety in some endevours.
