Are the wealthy that seek tax havens America's true moochers?

Apparently they think the government should pay for all the services it offers them. Highways be damned!

I think it's safe to say. The wealthy should be taxed the most not because it is what's fair, but because it's what's the most realistic. That is where the main source of our government funding comes from (regardless of whether or not the president in charge is over spending). Even if you don't agree with that logic, you should at least agree the greed that keeps wealthy people from paying taxes is flat out wrong.

Start with the Secretary of State. He won't dock his $7m yacht in is home state of Massachusetts. You Liberals really need to back off this "do as I say, not as I do" morality. It's old and it really exposes how full of shit you are.
You would have a point if all liberals do that, but only Kerry so Ill is on him only.

Deborah Wasserman Schulz
Nancy Pelosi
Al Gore
Michael Moore
Noam Chomsky

All of these 1 percenters hide money legally overseas and other shelters to avoid or minimize what they pay US. They have the same incentive and motivation as corporations.

Losers always think the game is "fixed". It's their way of ignoring that they weren't as good as the other guy. What you want, 1% is a guarantee that everyone will get the same reward despite their level of performance. It's like giving trophies to everyone whether they win or not that liberal idiots have been pushing with our kids for the last few decades. They grow up thinking they are "winners" and deserve rewards even when they SUCK! Then you put these kids out in the real world and scratch your heads, trying to figure out why they flounder.

The game IS fixed toward upper income folks like me.

-Look at one of the highest income zip codes in the nation, Fisher Island, Fl., with an average income of $800k/yr, average home price of $1M, and 13% unemployment. I can guarantee that nobody living in Fisher Island, FL is 'actually' unemployed.

-Republicans have been fixing the system for decades. EVERY TAX BENEFIT available to the wealthy has been written by a Republican, or has been included in IRS rules during Republican administrations.

If you are middle class and vote Republican you are screwing yourself.

They should pay 100% OF THE TAX BURDEN...

Does it hurt to be this stupid? Don't answer...

What's stopping people from being rich? It isnt true anyway. Anyone an incorporate and start taking deductions others cannot. Another fail from the faux poseur!

What's stopping most from being rich is education. Why do you think Republicans are against public education?, besides filling the coffers of private schools.

You must be posting from an iron lung because you are proving with every post you are too stupid to breath. There's no reason to support a unionized bureaucracy that is failing to do it's job and why shouldn't a parent be able to take the tax money that would be spent on their child to a school that can better serve their needs, if that's a private school, so be it. I guess you only favor choice when it comes to killing the children.

Obviously you have never run a business, equipment makes money employees don't put their money at risk to buy it, raw materials mark ups make money employees don't put their money at risk to buy them, buildings make money once again employees don't risk their money on them. Employees come in at the end, they are trained on how to use the equipment, they are taught how to handle the raw materials and how to produce a finished product, whether it be a hamburger or the space shuttle and all this is done in the comfy environment of the building. BTW the employees are paid while they do all this before the first dollar is earned by the company. So don;t give me this crap that employees make all the money for the company, without all the risk taken by the company from the start there would be no employees.

So an employer makes an investment, and employees make all the money for said investment.

If you create a business correctly, there is no risk.

FYI: Early on, I created one business, purchased one, and sold both making millions. I've Angel Invested 10 businesses which are all doing wonderfully. Currently, the company I Angel Invested I purchased, and if all goes correctly (which it will) will be a billion-dollar/yr business by 2020.

If you were paying 30%, 40%, 50% or more of your earnings in taxes and regulatory costs, on top of your regular business costs, you'd look for ways to shield your money from taxes too. You clearly have no idea what is involved with running a business--the local property taxes you pay, the facility rental fees you pay, the local business taxes you pay, etc., etc.

It is truly baffling how you liberals can constantly whine about wanting more "jobs, jobs, jobs," and then turn around and demonize the very people who create jobs. How many people do you know who work for a poor person or for a middle-income person? I've never met such an individual.

The more government sucks out of businesses in taxes and regulatory costs, the less money businesses have to open new outlets, to hire more workers, to give bonuses, to give promotions, to invest in R&D, to give pay raises, to pay for matching 401Ks. Do any of you liberals understand this basic bit of reality?

Nobody pays 30, 40, or 50% in taxes. Give it up!

Wow you obviously know NOTHING about creating businesses! Your claims to be this whiz kid financier are laughable quite frankly. I doubt you could open and run a lemonade stand let alone a billion dollar a year business!

Internet blowhards like you can't help yourselves...you have to keep making your bullshit claims bigger and bigger until suddenly you're a combination of Bill Gates, Donald Trump and Mark Cuban!

Can you say LOSER!!!!!!!!!!!

Exactly,

One day if they keep doing it, we're going to look like Mexico with a small upper class and a vast lower.

Inhale, exhale, inhale, exhale, inhale, exhale, in.................................................

True moochers are Charles Rangle and Al Sharpton. They don't even seek tax havens. They just refuse to pay and wag their finger and Race cards at everyone else to pay. True moocher.

Obviously not only do you not know business but you seem to have a reading comprehension problem as well. Show me the quote where I claimed to be "this whiz kid financier". I started a couple of businesses with my own money, I took all the risk and without my willingness to do so the folks I hired wouldn't of had the opportunity to make money for themselves. I did all the sales and without sales there would be no need for employees because there would be no customers, so by your logic the salesmen make all the companies money, Right?

Why would you create an investment and work it yourself?

Why would you start a business with your own money? Couldn't sell the idea to anyone? How's the business goin' for ya now? Did ya make a million bucks? (which is the point)

Most Right Wingers don't know that the rich avoid taxes and are mad they are poor because of Welfare program and blame Socialism.

The irony is that most social programs are Corporate and politically driven.

There is a reason the Right cuts education funding. This tactic won't last for long.
