Do you think police active shooter policy needs to change?

A lot of the blame for the

Now see, I've already said that I haven't dug into this. That's why I'm asking you. Thanks for the answer. But you should work on your communication skills. You come across as belligerent.
I am belligerent and straight forward.

I assume everyone dumb enough to enter a conversation with me is as equally informed as me

I'm not digging into this one until the dust settles, but from what I gather, the cops weren't concerned about an active shooter picking them off from a window . . .
We do not know whether this room had windows. Nobody is saying zip about that.

Because obviously, if it DID, that was a way to get at this guy.

I'm guessing it was windowless. We'll probably hear eventually, since that's important.

Ask yourself how a mentally unstable unemployed teen was able to get ahold of weapons and equipment that would be difficult even for me to get ahold of, and a $70,000 Ford F150.
Good point.

Kind of like when the FBI inexplicably dropped the ball bigtime in the case of Nikolas Cruz. How does one explain that kind of gross negligence?

Yeah, they just don't correct that. But to be fair, the kids and teachers were all dead within moments after the shooter locked himself into that room, so what could anyone do.
They don;t know that, with prompt medical attention qw don't know how many could have been saved

More and more I am thinking these creatures are being allowed to wreak their havoc. So, not a false flag, but the authorities are doing nothing to prevent the attacks.

I couldn't disagree more.

I think we can all agree I'm a dirtbag at times but on MULTIPLE occasions I have risked bodily injury to defend others. Adrenaline should give the courage needed in fight or flight......should....
The point is that the Police are a structured organization and bound by laws that don't apply in bar fights. Unfortunately they wait around for orders. The problem is leadership or the lack of it.

Fair enough.

It's obviously armchair quarterbacking but I wouldn't have stopped till he or my boss shot me down.
How cam ANY MAN follow some arbitrary rule when women or children are in danger?

We've lost our way

Here is what dumbass, boot licking, Jason Whitlock had to say.

Cops are low paid. They are now low respect. Very very low respect. WHY--I'm serious, why--should they run into anywhere and take bullets for any of us??

I wonder if some of this is a subconscious reaction to the riots. They're checked out; they're done. I don't like it, I don't even think it's right, but I can't say they don't have a point.

Next up: teachers flee buildings to save their own lives, leaving students behind. I never would. I would rather die. But when you disrespect people long enough they check out.

So to hell with Serve and Protect. Fine a new line of work if you don't want to do your job.

You can't answer yes or no but it's a reasonable issue. Years ago most Police agencies were staffed by military Vets but not so much anymore. It's about leadership or the lack of it. A bunch of Cops standing around while shots are fired doesn't mean they are cowards but they lack direction and leadership.
You want cops to risk their lives so sloppy misfits can buy unlimited guns and bullets.

The FBI literally allowed Nikolas Cruz to do as he publicly planned. Not to be outdone, some people here defend the FBI's gross negligence. You shouldn't defend gross negligence, especially when it results in kids dying.

Good thing this kid had an 'assault wepaon' - otherwise he would have never been able to kil as many people as he did in the time he had.

It scared the cops so much that they would not approach out of fear of being shot themselves. So what made the AR so scary to the cops?

It's difficult to understand what in the fuck these officers were thinking. The idea that you would hesitate at all to rush in when you knew kids were being shot, it's disgraceful.
