2) We are not at war with "Iran", rather with the theocratic dictatorship/regime running that country. That theocratic regime is the one that has directed Iran military resources to attack the USA, Israel, and the West the past 47 years since they took control of the country. Once they are defeated and replaced by more civil and peaceful form of government this "war" can be over.

3)Iran screwed the world's oil supply. Iran did not have to place mines in the Straight and constrict/attack shipping passing through. That was a CHOICE they made rather than more civil and compliant response. This is Iran's fault.

It is typical of you leftards to absolve the crimes of criminals and blame others, society, the system, etc. for "doing" such~make it happen, rather than apply personal responsibility for one's choices and actions to those who did those actions.

The only country to stand united with Israel in their military aggression is the United States, think of the goodwill we squander amongst the civilized world by standing in solidarity, alone, with Israel.

And for what? So we have a base of operations for our meddling and war making in the Middle East. The CIA and Israel are the two reasons anyone in the world would target the United States with terrorism.
