Every time I ask someone whether or not they're going to be campaigning for the banning of shotguns when people start using those, they're not too quick to answer.

No logical argument works on Dems because stopping school shootings isn't the real goal, it's banning guns. It's not like Dems give a shit about the dozens shot and killed in their own cities each week. Dems give other countries billions to buy the very guns they want to ban here.

I think Dems just want to ban guns out of spitefulness. It's a treasured right among Republicans so they want to take it away, out of spite.

Also, the Buffalo shooter did target an area with strict gun control laws to minimize the risk of victims being able to fight back.

But Texas is one of the national leaders in big mass public shootings, and New York state has less than half the mass shootings of Texas. Texas and Florida - the two states with the most lax gun laws in the nation, are also in the top three in the nation in mass shootings. California is at the very top but Texas and Florida are #2 and #3 with a bullet.
