Yes there is. A Pseudo-Christian cult, just like Jehovah's Witnesses, Christian Science Armstrongism, Word of Faith (prosperity gospel).
I dunno.

As to LDS, however, I don’t buy it. But I guess anything is possible.

But they do profess Jesus Christ. Thus, they are Christian.

is there any contemporary proof or any document written by jesus they ever claimed to be a jewish messiah or any proof such a being would ever be a heavenly consideration and has one ever emerged since that time as the jews claim still to be waiting for -

in fact truth be told no such religion as 4th century christianity has ever existed than in name only and the same for judaism.

simply the desert religions completely obscure the actual 1st century events that believed liberation theology, self determination is the means to free ones spirit for admission to the everlasting not the false religions of servitude and denial. as taught by jesus.

OK, as I have more time now, let me 'Splain.
Pseudo-Christian cults may claim to name Jesus Christ, but who is He in relation to them? Is He G-d Almighty Himself manifest in the flesh as declared in John 1:1, 8:58 and other parts of the New Testament? Is grace alone by faith sufficient enough for salvation, or are there other works necessary? Do they believe that G-d is manifest as one entity, but three persons (Father, Son, Holy Spirit).
Now, with those three core tenets in mind, let me show you where some of these pseudo-Christian cults get it wrong:
Watchtower Society (JWs) deny Christ's very deity, completely butcher up Scripture in their NWT Bible, thus claiming Christ is nothing more than Michael the Archangel. They claim a works-based/performance based salvation, that only 144,000 will inherit Heaven. Mormons also deny the very Deity of Christ, also emphasize a works-based salvation, and have been considerably racist.
Having said all that, a book that is still in publication was written by the late Dr. Walter R. Martin entitled The Kingdom of the Cults which give a great synopsis on these and other cults that plague Christianity to this day. One of the best resources out there.

Not really pertinent.

Do you, alone, get to decide which religion IS “psuedo Christian” and which is legit?

often i read things like ....Chritians and Catholics

but is Christian not a cover all term for Protestans and Catholicsvalice?is

I know many Catholics who worship God and love Jesus, and I truly believe they are destined for eternity with them.

That said:

Many things the Catholic Church teaches does not align with the Bible or Jesus' teachings. I would say, if you're a Christian, proceed with caution when it comes to Catholicism.

(The pageantry surrounding the installation of the new pope is just one example of this)

The Bible does. As true disciples, we are to examine all teachings and determine whether it lines up with the Bible. If not, then we call it out and expose it for what it is. That is the basis of apologetics.

- and that's why they waited 400 years to write the christian bible during a near 100 year time period without an appendix of stored documents they used to write their book - as in fact during the 1st century jesus never claimed to be the jewish messiah or that the heavens would create such a being as an apartheid for such a select group that is an anathema for the goal set by the heavens for all living beings.

claim as they please for a jewish messiah - just leave jesus out of the discussion. who was crucified by them.

Where did you come up with that basis for defining “Christian?”
