a pre-emptive pardon says the person pardoned cannot be prosecuted for any crimes within the time parameters of the pardon. Fauci's goes back to 2014 up to the date of the pardon (jan 20, 2025) So if he is found to have committed murder during that time span he is deemed innocent by Biden's pardon. Sorry, but it is you who does not understand how this works. The legality of pre-emptive pardons will probably be challenged in some court and will probably go to the SC for resolution. I suspect that they will be ruled unconstitutional, but we shall see.
