There should be no such thing as pre-emptive or blanket pardons. How utterly ridiuclous. Any Pardon should not only be for a specific conviction already on the books but pardons should have another unbiased approval source other than just one person, except when it comes to turkeys.

Time after time after time after time, democrats have shown us how to do something and then gripe about it when Republicans wind up doing it better than they did. Pardons cannot be reviewed by anyone as the President has plenary power to grant pardons. There is no constitutional provision for review.

The question isn't about the pardon's content, the question is can you even pardon someone who hasn't even been indicted for a crime.

It's not questioning the reasoning for the pardon, it's questioning if it's actually a pardon at all.

People were willing to let i pass when it was used on Nixon, less so when it's used as Biden used it.
