Are any [T]rump devotees predicting, or desirous of, a ground war in Iran?

The imbecile OP, bug.08, asks the thread headline “question” (quoted above with a correction) in that form because it can’t bring itself to acknowledge that President Trump is the President.

As a Trump supporter, I don’t predict a ground war and I don’t want one, either. I do acknowledge that it is, nevertheless, still possible that our military may be ordered to send in some troops.

It is possible that the war cannot be effectively fought only with air power and missiles and bombs.

That is my best guess as well. But as Dotard is unpredictable anything can happen. So far bombing Iran in to submission hasn't worked.
Any decent leader should be unpredictable. We haven't fully unloaded on Iran yet. We'll see what happens.

The GOP congress is feckless.

Really? You mean democrats are now going around stealing fecks, too What the fu-k is a fe-k?

And how do you dance from a video of Vance saying we have no interest in a years long war to taking that as a declaration of a years long war?

Can'[t wait to hear your feckable reply.

That was a border patrol agent...
And I bet you were all for it too. :auiqs.jpg:

That was before ICE was created. You do understand the difference between ICE and the Border Patrol, right?

The operation was ordered by a AG Jenet Reno shaking from Parkinson's during a press conference after WACO TX.

I am thinking Serbia. Potentially the attacks to suppress ISIL in Iraq and Syria, but thats more supporting others, yes.
That war was not started by America.

Pakistan prepared to host U.S.-Iran talks in ‘coming days’ as Trump weighs deploying ground troops

Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said Sunday that both the U.S. and Iran have expressed confidence in Pakistan to hold talks in the coming days aimed at ending the U.S.-Israeli war in Iran.

In a statement following a meeting with the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Egypt, Dar said Pakistan is engaging with the U.S. to find an end to the conflict, and that “both Iran and the US have expressed their confidence in Pakistan to facilitate the talks.

“Pakistan will be honoured to host and facilitate meaningful talks between the two sides in coming days, for a comprehensive and lasting settlement of the ongoing conflict,” Dar said.

It is unclear whether the U.S. and Iran had agreed to any formal talks with Pakistan. The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment from CNBC.

Up until now the man who avoided the draft by having a friendly doctor say he had bone spurs has not shown the stomach for sending ground troops in to harm's way on a large scale. He certainly didn't have the stomach for it himself. Hence the draft dodging. Neither has anyone in his family. Having no history of sacrifice for the nation in the fam explains a lot. However, he has shown an affinity for dropping bombs on people's heads. Sometimes the wrong heads.

A reluctance to send in foot soldiers is actually commendable. Especially with Pete Hegseth, the former minor TV personality, chomping at the bit for more blood. What isn't is being in a position to consider doing it due to under estimating the enemy.

Strategery.........thanks George..............has not proven to be a strength (to be kind) of the regime. As it turns out Don is more of a bomb first, try to figure out what to do next kind of prez. At this point I'm not sure what he plans to do. I don't think he does either.

Well, we went into Iraq with a quarter million men and that wasn’t enough so…

Interesting, notice how both men sit with their legs tightly crossed as if there was nothing down there. Just sayin'.
You spend far too much time looking at other men’s crotches

I don't give a ** what your *** ass is tired of. America is not always wrong. You right-wingers are always wrong. What America has done to non-whites and women is wrong. This war is wrong. So if you are sick, go see a physician. Because I'm sick of your white man is always right bullshit, and until it stops, I will oppose it and there is nothing you can do but take it.
I don't like any war and I don't like this one... but at least this president is at war with a real enemy... you say we did a lot of bad things to Iran... maybe so but they have to us as well... And I'm an American not an Iranian.... the Mullahs were evil men and had to be removed... why don't you go to Iran and report back to us *****...

I've already debunked all those lies. You need some new material.

The Iranian nuclear program is in a very different position than it was a decade ago.
This is not speculative—it is captured in the regular monitoring reports of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), which have continued even since the Trump administration withdrew from the JCPOA in 2018.
As a result of this sophistication, no new nuclear deal would be able to roll back Iran’s capabilities to where they were before the JCPOA. What Iranian scientists have learned cannot be destroyed, even if the machines, material, and facilities can. This is true, regardless of whether destruction comes via a negotiated arrangement or a military strike. Iran’s technical knowledge would persist for a generation, even if it agreed to a full dismantlement of its current program, which is unlikely.
