Let's face it Ram, if Iran were any greater threat, they would be right up there with Japan and Pearl Harbor. Until Japan actually struck, they too were only an "imminent" threat. Donald Trump may have very well just prevented another Pearl Harbor against the USA by not waiting until actually hit.

Adolf Hitler gave less threat to the USA than has Iran. Iran has for these past 47 years gone out of its way perhaps more so than any other adversary in the history of the USA to make clear their absolute contempt for us and total commitment to our destruction.

No country could possibly be more provocative against the USA begging to be taken seriously demanding stern military action than what Iran has done these past four decades. They have been completely begging, daring the USA to smash them in the mouth.

So, all I say is no sane man wants war, but thank God we have a man like Trump to carry this out in time to prevent a far-greater holocaust in the future which apparently the rest of our presidents as most of our world leaders have been just hiding their heads in the sand for years and decades pretending wasn't there.

Pakistan prepared to host U.S.-Iran talks in ‘coming days’ as Trump weighs deploying ground troops​

In a statement following a meeting with the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Egypt, Dar said Pakistan is engaging with the U.S. to find an end to the conflict, and that “both Iran and the US have expressed their confidence in Pakistan to facilitate the talks.

“Pakistan will be honoured to host and facilitate meaningful talks between the two sides in coming days, for a comprehensive and lasting settlement of the ongoing conflict,” Dar said.

It is unclear whether the U.S. and Iran had agreed to any formal talks with Pakistan. The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment from CNBC.

Up until now the man who avoided the draft by having a friendly doctor say he had bone spurs has not shown the stomach for sending ground troops in to harm's way on a large scale. A reluctance to send in foot soldiers is actually commendable. Especially with Pete Hegseth, the former minor TV personality, chomping at the bit for more blood. What isn't is being in a position to consider doing it due to under estimating the enemy.

Or at least reducing it to small area around Tehran. Everyone would be better off that way. And they would not be as big a threat anymore for sure. If they continue then eliminate Iran altogether. Strict borders must be defined to avoid infighting. This operation would work best after the US and Israel destroy the remaing military bases and all the infrastructure including power plants. Put them in the dark. Then allow these nations to seize the country.

Iran and the West agreed to return frozen assets as part of the agreement.

The international courts had ruled for decades that money rightfully belonged to Iran.
