Are America's health insurance companies next in the barrel?

I am not worried about those who cannot be vaccinated nor those who choose not to be vaccinated. That is their problem, not mine.
Parents are not getting their kids vaccinated. It is disgusting children have to suffer the consequences of their parents' stupidity.

Anti-vaxxers are also risking the return of avoidable epidemics of diseases we defeated long ago.

So, contrary to your belief, it IS your problem.

It's the public's problem. If you don't consider it to be yours, so be it.

AI Overview

Herd immunity is vital because it protects entire communities from infectious diseases, not just vaccinated or previously ill individuals. It creates a collective barrier against the spread of disease, shielding those who cannot be vaccinated, such as newborns or people with weakened immune systems. This protection lowers the risk of outbreaks and safeguards public health by making it harder for diseases to circulate.

It is not a public problem. It is a bunch of individual problems. If someone does not want to be vaccinated, they should not be forced to just so the parents of some kid can be cheapskates, nutters, or whatever their issue is. Take it if you want and don't worry about the rest.

Any kid whose parents refuses to have them vaccinated should not be allowed in a public school. Of note, "a bunch of individual(s)" comprises the public.

Health insurers are essentially giving RFK the middle finger on vaccine policy, and in so doing........amazingly.........doing the right thing. Not just according to the science but also their bottom lines. Which, honestly, is their primary motivating factor.
This will probably save lives in that this in itself may halt the bullettothehead virus going around that for some reason many actually seem to enjoy.
