Yes Mortimer, you are correct that America has a "gym culture". I'm very much in tune with it and have family in the business.

Are you "fat"? I don't know. I do know that you used to be morbidly obese. Then you lost a lot of fat after your operation.

But flaps of skin are probably even more grotesque than and ugly than being super fat. But at least you're alive.

I've been a professional trainer and nutritionist and I would have never taken on a case like yours. You should work closely with a doctor who specializes in cases like yours. I worry that if you fuck this up you may be dead very soon.

Yes I lost alot of fat but I didnt had a operation. I changed my diet thats how I lost weight.

It does seem a lot worse the last decade or so; fewer citizens working construction type jobs and the like, due to cheap labor flooding the country is one big factor; automation is another, along with many of the reasons I posted above, plus it is hard to avoid lots of sugars and salt in our diets, and getting a lot harder to afford yuppie prices for 'organics' and the like. It seems like nobody cooks at home any more among younger people. I see morbidly obese 8 to 12 year olds all over the place, even obese toddlers. I think stress and depression also plays a big role, as does a lack of sunlight. I also don't think one will stay thin long if they work at fast food joints, which is the fastest growing job category during our alleged 'Boom' the right wingers keep claiming exists.

I always laugh when I watch vids of illegals sneaking across to the U.S.; they are usually as well or better dressed than most American kids, many of them are morbidly obese, but the 'journalists' always only 'interview' one of the few skinny ones. Reminds me of all those pics of 'Oppressed Palestinian Children' who are also better dressed and obviously have much better dental care than many American kids do as well.

Since 90% of the population lives in urban areas that's unlikely. You will see lots of fat people in minority neighborhoods especially, where even the middle class houses are covered with burglar bars and security cameras and nobody is outside except the gangbangers and thugs. Minorities have a lot more health issues than whites, and that isn't because of a lack of health care.
