Please correct me if I am wrong and way out of line, but, if this map is correct, then why is there a problem with Gaza and the West Bank? These areas should not be in Arab/Palestinian hands at all. The Mandate for Israel should have incorporated all the designated lands under the following law.

Uti possidetis juris is an international legal principle stating that, upon a state's independence, the new state inherits the colonial administrative borders that existed at that time!!!!!
