Apparently, the new change to food stamps applies only to single people without children between 19 and 49.

So AOC has stepped in it.

I heard Trump was making changes, but I have not looked into it, though I am curious if this is just a rollback from all the stimulus spending after the big crash. I remember saying at the time that all the expansions of welfare to get through the crisis would result in riots in the streets after the crisis had passed and welfare was returned to its pre-crash standards.

Don't know if that is what Trump is doing or not, though.
