Decades ago I was a diehard Democrat. I was poor and I believed Democrats were for the little guy, Republicans were for the wealthy and fought wars against women, seniors, the poor, immigrants, and kicked cute little puppy dogs. But, when I began to open my eyes I realized that I was getting lied to by the left for political purposes and that continues to this day. I consider Social Democracy as the best form of government that we have today... While Democratic Socialism while useful in certain areas like policing, defence, Education, infrastructure... I don't thing it is the answer for most if nearly all mainstream economic activity like banking, retail.....

I do believe the market economy (with regulations) should work for all the people and not just a wealthy few...
