Kamala Harris Admits Trump Hasn't Ever Put Us In A "Constitutional Crisis"

Nice try….

Trumps initial claim was ……It is up to El Salvador to release him, nothing I can do.

Then he played tough guy in the CBS interview and said he could pick up the phone if he wanted to. He just won’t do it.

The courts will not be impressed
Doesn't change the fact that if the president of El Salvador refuses to release the prisoner there is nothing the court can do about it, no matter what Trump said or didn't say.

If Trump is unable to get this guy back, it is clear to the court that we should not be paying to send migrants there if we can’t get them back if a mistake is made.

Court can ban Trump from sending people there.
I see what you're saying. You're saying that if we don't get this guy back there is nothing the court can do about getting this guy back. You could have just liked my post.

Let me ask you…
Just how stupid is Trump?

He builds his response to SCOTUS demands he facilitate Garcias return around El Salvador denying the request.
Then in an interview he boasts he could have him returned anytime but chooses not to.

We've been doing that for the last ten fucking years.

And, despite all the inherent systemic advantages your side has (had) - it's all continued along the same trajectory.

Can you guess what that is?

Put all your brain power into it.

Correct answer gets you a cookie.
He doesn't have the brain power to get a cookie. A chimp would have a much better chance.

How does that make him stupid? As I said, if we don't get this guy back the court can't do a damn thing about getting this guy back and can't do anything to Trump for not getting the guy back.

Right now Trump is playing TRUMP games with the courts.
Do what you want, delay, mock the judge, appeal to higher courts and eventually getting a Supreme Court decision

Trump is still playing games, claiming the release is out of their hands and daring the court to do anything about it.

The court is growing impatient.

Will Trump comply if ordered?

That is your constitutional crisis
Why shouldn't he be able to appeal to the highest Court?

Appealing cases is a Constitutional crisis? Wow.

So, is Hamas agent, Mahmoud Khalil creating a Constitutional crisis when after a judge already ruled him deportable he's appealing the case?

Actually, the court can find him in contempt.
They can also use this as justification to block all transfers because Trump has no way to get them back if he makes a mistake.

Does Trump REALLY want to piss off everyone but Thomas and Alito?

But that's not what he said, he said he could call the President of El Salvador an ask him again.

All he was ordered to do was make easier his return to a US Dentention center to be deported again, he's made clear that he has a plane ready, but Garcia's President and Govt aren't done with him and said they wouldn't. Trump can certainly keep calling, but why?

wow, you think the SCOTUS can block ALL deportations because of a mistake? How about they stop putting any one in prison, lord knows there have been a lot of mistakes of Americans going to prison, your logic would imply that's the case.

Is Trump really that weak or does he think the court is that stupid?

He is PAYING to house prisoners there. He can stop paying if they won’t return the prisoner.

Does he really think the court will allow these games?

How could they find Trump in contempt for not getting a guy back who El Salvador refused to allow to come back? That sounds like you guys are right back to becoming your Nazi selves again.

wow, you think the SCOTUS can block ALL deportations because of a mistake?
YES
Because it is clear that Trump can’t or won’t correct wrongful deportations.
If Trump wants to play games, so can the court

I think the court will question the sincerity of his request.

He’s just following the order, how’s that weak?

He is paying El Salvador to take in Venezuelans because their country won’t take back the criminals that xiden let in. Garcia is from El Salvador he’s not sending any money for El Salvadorans

What games?

YES
Because it is clear that Trump can’t or won’t correct wrongful deportations.
If Trump wants to play games, so can the court
When did they do that? Last I checked people were still going to prison

How many years has it been now that Democrats have been telling us that Trump will put us in a "Constitutional Crisis" or that we are already in one or that we have already had one? Well now, Kamala Harris has just admitted in her speech that, under Trump, we still haven't been in a Constitutional Crisis to this day. But, it's going to happen. It's right around the corner. It's "looming".

I remember 50 years ago Democrats hollering, screaming, and warning us that Republicans were going to take senior's social security away and, guess what? After 50 years, we still have social security. But, that "Constitutional Crisis" is "looming", even if we still have social security. I guess that is also still "looming" after 50 years.

No wonder why democrats only have a 25% approval rating. No one believes them anymore.

Former Vice President Kamala Harris, in her sharpest remarks about President Trump since leaving office, blasted his policies as a dangerous betrayal of the nation's founding principles and warned Wednesday of a looming constitutional crisis.

And they figure trotting word-salad out is going to save them? SMH, they just don't learn--SSDD

Nope, that is not what she said. And, polls suggest that the GOP retains strong support within its base but faces much broader skepticism among independents and the general electorate.
