The damn things are so expensive I can't see how they sell them...

So were computers, VCRs, color TVs, etc. when they first came out. By 2040 battery technology should cut that cost by quite a bit.
I am speaking of the gas and diesel trucks they are making they cost more than my first house. The sub-prime market has the highest rate of loan failure in the auto industry....

Should is what? And that isn't the only thing to consider in cost- have you ever heard of free electricity? Or, the after market? Or, used cars? Geezus- can you not think beyond your nose?

My first house cost 11k- that was in 1970- my 72 Nova cost 2900 bucks- my 74 Cheyenne cost 3200 bucks- my 76 GranPrix cost 6k- it's along list of cost increases-

They are....I wrote a paper in physics class in college about the use of hydrogen to power automobiles in 1980. There is big production plans in---the Middle East.
