False Equivalence
The argument that Caesar and Jesus are equally “late inventions” because they weren’t mentioned by unrelated civilizations is a rhetorical sleight of hand. Caesar was a head of state; Jesus was a crucified preacher. Their historical footprints are naturally different in scale and immediacy.
If someone’s trying to argue Jesus was a hoax because he wasn’t instantly documented by every culture on Earth, they’re not engaging with how history—or ancient communication—actually worked.
