I run into Holocaust deniers on the internet now and then. I tell them that if the Holocaust did not happen it needs to be the case that every soldier who liberated a Nazi concentration camp and every concentration victim who survived a concentration camp conspired to lie about what was happening in the camp. When I was growing up my dentist was a survivor of Dachau, He told me that most of his relatives and most of his friends were killed there. Was he lying to me? My father had a colleague who survived a camp. He told my father the same thing.
