Antioch University: Tara Reade did not graduate from our institution as she claimed

Doesn't matter.

Joe Biden is a demonstrable hypocrite.

He said: "We should believe them" (unless the accused is a Democrat)

The damage is already done.

.

Biden lied about just about everything pertaining to his college education but the crazy angry left attacks his accuser on the basis of her "graduate qualifications"? Wow.

Tara Reade's top lawyer, a Trump donor, is not longer representing her, following a series of stories revealing that she lies a lot
A lawyer who is offended by the lies of his client?! WTF is this world coming to?
Maybe she should hire Michael Cohen. I hear he's free. He didn't mind doing dishonest stuff for his client.
Michael Cohen is the only lawyer who does dishonest stuff?

I find it very upsetting that people apparently trust a person of your knowledge and intellect to educate their children. As if being a prig wasn't enough.

So lying is a reason to drop a client if you are a lawyer?

I reckon the lawyers are the only ones allowed to lie, just like politicians.

Every state requires every person who passes the bar to take the Lawyers Oath.

The reason she was dropped is not fully explained in her Attorney's comments, once guess is the Attorney didn't believe her, and would violate the privilege if he said so.

A lie by omission, is still a lie. You've quoted only one phrase from Biden's statements, which make your comment dishonest:

Just trying to help her out. He seems like the obvious choice. Guy no doubt needs some pocket money, having just got released. Oh...he may have been disbarred for committing a felony. But apparently not having a REAL license shouldn't bother Reade. She can always make one up. That's the ticket!

The unfortunate aspect of publicity for those who seek it is that the exposure brings out facts from the past which do not portray the publicity seeker in a good light.

It is now alleged she lied about a graduate qualification which was cited in a number of court cases in which she testified. If the allegation is true it will expose her as a liar and a perjurer and will affect the cases she testified in.

The exposure of Tara Reade as a liar and perjurer should end the controversy over Joe Biden except to find out if there were people behind Tara Reade who paid for the allegations or otherwise promoted the propagation of the allegations.

At least three times in the past two years, Tara Reade – the woman who now accuses Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden of sexual assault – took the witness stand in a trial centered on domestic violence.

Each time, before a judge would allow her to describe the insidious cycles of domestic violence, she had to show she was qualified to testify in court as a so-called “expert witness.” And each time, she began her answer by citing two things: Biden’s past efforts to protect women from violence, and her time on his Senate staff in the early 1990s, when she now says the sexual assault took place.

“What’s your experience specifically with respect to domestic violence?” Monterey County Deputy District Attorney Robin Duffy asked Reade during a trial in California early last year, according to a transcript of the testimony.

“Well,” Reade responded, “I worked originally for former U.S. senator Joseph Biden as a legislative aide. He worked on the Violence Against Women Act.”

In the January 2019 testimony, Reade seemed to praise what Biden started as a U.S. senator, saying that “going way back to my former boss, Joe Biden,” there has been a “movement” to “take the onus off the victim” by encouraging neighbors or other associates of victims to report domestic violence to authorities.

She also cited Biden and the Violence Against Women Act during testimony in October last year, six months after she first publicly accused Biden of inappropriately touching her nearly two decades ago, limiting her complaints then to allegations he stroked her neck and twirled her curly hair between his fingers.

MORE: Biden: If voters believe Tara Reade ‘they probably shouldn’t vote for me’
According to the transcripts obtained by ABC News, her appearances in court reflect someone who has dedicated much of her life to helping those brutalized by violent and abusive men. But the transcripts also reflect someone who – when under oath – touted Biden’s work for women.
...

Before a judge allowed Reade to testify in a December 2018 trial – involving the less common case of two women accused of domestic violence – Duffy, the prosecutor, asked Reade to describe her past education.

“I have a law degree from Seattle University,” Reade noted, testifying under the name Alexandra McCabe, which she assumed after escaping from her allegedly abusive ex-husband in 1997.

“And what about undergraduate?” Duffy inquired.

“A B.A. from Antioch University,” Reade replied, referring to the bachelor of arts degree bestowed on those who graduate from the Seattle school.

After then hearing about Reade’s “20-year career,” including her time in state government as “a victim advocate” and her legal work for local agencies representing battered women, the judge ruled that Reade could testify as an expert witness in the case.

“I do find at this time that this witness does meet the educational background and training requirements to testify as an expert in the dynamics of domestic violence relationships,” the Monterey County judge said of Reade.

A month later, in her January 2019 testimony, Reade similarly testified that she received an undergraduate degree from Antioch University.

But, according to Antioch University officials, some of what Reade told the judges was not true.

"Alexandra McCabe attended but did not graduate from Antioch University,” the school’s spokeswoman, Karen Hamilton, said in a statement to ABC News.

In fact, according to one source familiar with the matter, Reade attended the equivalent of just one year of school at Antioch University in 2000 – a fraction of what’s usually required to earn a degree. ...

What a saddening story that is.

Let's not forget, how we're reacting to it demonstrates who we are.

Reades story, even if true, has evolved so radically that she has little credibility

Don't you want to hear Biden testify about it? So the people hear both sides? Let the people decide. Let's look at the Biden records at the University of Delaware. I don't think the Biden family is as squeaky clean as libs claim

He has said publicly it did not happen.

The attorney for Tara Reade, the former Senate aide who has accused Joe Biden of sexually assaulting her 27 years ago, announced Friday he would no longer represent her, just two weeks after taking her on as a client.

KEY FACTS
  1. Reade has accused Biden of assaulting her in the Senate complex in 1993, claiming he pressed her up against a wall, kissed her neck and penetrated her with his fingers after prying her legs open with his knees; an accusation that Biden vehemently denies.
  2. Earlier the week, defense lawyers in California said they began investigating whether Reade had committed perjury by misrepresenting her academic qualifications when she testified under oath that she had a college degree from Antioch University.
  3. An Antioch spokeswoman, Karen Hamilton, told The New York Times that while Ms. Reade had attended classes, she was certain Ms. Reade had not received a degree; the university added that she only did administrative work and it has no record of her graduating.
  4. On Friday, attorney Douglas H. Wigdor, a prominent lawyer in major #MeToo cases against Bill O’Reilly and Harvey Weinstein, announced that he and his firm would no longer represent Reade as a client.

Wigdor offered no specific reason, but said his decision was "by no means a reflection on whether then-Senator Biden sexually assaulted Ms. Reade."

Reade has declined to comment on her lawyer's departure. ...

This whole thing is ridiculous.

She makes me angry. I believed her. At first. Until I learned the whole story.

If she thinks that being asked to serve coffee and told she has nice legs is harassment then she needs to learn what harassment is.

She spits on all of us who have experienced real sexual harassment. She makes it harder for those who are telling the truth to be believed.

When I read that so called complaint she may have filed didn't say one word about sexual abuse it was my last straw with her. If she was going to file a complaint she would have included any and all sexual assault. It would have given more credence to her sexual harassment allegations. But just being asked to serve coffee and told you have nice legs isn't enough for even me to get upset about.

I've read statements made by people she has scammed.

She's no different from norma mccorvey. She used the anti abortion movement for years even though she was lying through her teeth. She conned them out of nearly half a million dollars. She admitted she was paid and everything she said about being anti choice was a lie. She actually said the anti abortion people told her what to say.

Ah, remember when she was the one who was going to GET Biden?

Now it turns out that because she lied on her resume (never a good idea, just ask a professional) dozens of cases that called her as an expert witness will be overturned.

Under the name Alexandra McCabe, Tara Reade has for years testified for the prosecution as an expert in domestic violence cases.

But a number of California defense attorneys are considering challenging the convictions of their clients amid questions about whether Reade misrepresented her credentials under oath.

Six cases involving Reade’s testimony are already under review by the 6th District Appellate Program, Executive Director Patrick McKenna told POLITICO Thursday. The state-funded office oversees appointed defense counsel in appellate cases covering four California counties, including Monterey County, where the prosecution often tapped Reade as an expert witness.

The review will determine whether the attorneys can petition a judge to review their clients’ conviction, and potentially order a new trial.

“I have at least six cases where she testified and I have lists pending from various attorney groups where she testified as a violence expert. I expect that list will expand significantly,” McKenna said. “We’re trying to get the lists together. We’re aware of Ms. Reade, we’re in the mode of trying to review the transcripts to see if she misrepresented herself in court.”

In that December 2018 case, Reade gave an account of her educational background that conflicts with the account of university officials. When asked to detail her credentials as an expert in domestic violence in the case, Reade testified that she had a law degree from Seattle University and graduated from Antioch University in Seattle with a bachelor’s degree.

Karen Hamilton, a spokeswoman for Antioch University, said in a statement that Reade did not graduate and was never a faculty member. Reade attended Antioch for three academic quarters, in 2000 and part of 2001, the university said.

No doubt she's a skank and not that much different than Blasey-Ford. But maybe skanks get sexually assaulted too. Dunno.

You evidently are professing considerable experience with skanks and intensive and extensive knowledge of skank-kind. Your experience is with both male and female skanks?
I've come across a few, who hasn't? But the first I'd seen on TV who wasn't playing one was Blasey-Ford.
