There is no question that Mr. E.T. Woods is the biggest television attraction in the history of golf. There is no question that he is recovering from an injury that would have meant retirement from golf for just about anyone else, but he is fighting on. There is no question that his skills are nearly where he needs them to be, but for his inability to walk the course.
Is it time for the PGA to at least offer Mr. Woods the option of riding the course, and option that is not unprecedented (Casey Martin)?
Whether he would accept that option - perhaps he could ride with the corpulent John Daly - is another question. But shouldn't it be offered?
